The Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) has created a self-trained team of scientists composed of students and researchers to prepare for a project simulate life on Mars in the Utah desert in the USA.
A range of experiments will be carried out there and will make it possible to collect data for a future exploration of the red planet.
Together, they are the 190th team to take part in the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) project. They are also the 10th team from UCL.
This is further excellent proof of the quality of our Walloon universities.
This success would obviously not be possible without external help and you can become a partner in this expedition.
