Dog Studio, the digital agency based in Namur (Wallonia), will soon open up an office in Chicago. Dog Studio’s office in Chicago should be open for business in May 2017. Dogstudio’s move to the Windy City is likely to accelerate the expansion of the company on the American continent.

Founded 11 years ago, Dog Studio now employs 36 people and expects future growth.

Henry Daubrez will be the CEO of the US branch and considers the choice of Chicago as unavoidable. Indeed, some of the major clients of the company, including the Museum of Science and Industry (MSI), are based in Chicago, the 3rd largest city in the US. This reference project opened up new doors for Dog Studio in the USA, among others the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts or the Smithsonian Institute.

“Up until now, our best achievement in the US has definitely been the digital revamp of the Museum of Science and Industry of Chicago, which is a global reference in its category and with which we keep on collaborating frequently. This project caught the interest of numerous prestigious institutions in the American cultural world that were out of reach”, explains the future director of the Dog Studio, who is also the Design director and co-owner of the company. When the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts or the Smithsonian, among others, welcomed us last year to collaborate on specific projects, we became fully aware of our potential and our exclusive localization on the huge American market.”

The geographic position of Chicago is an important factor: “its situation is ideal and will enable us to expand on both American coasts, while preserving our close relationship with the Belgium-based team”.
