Located on the private island of the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, it accommodates many celebrities, tourists, businessmen and government representatives.  Concern for guest safety has grown since the terrorist attack in June 2015 at the Riu Imperial Marhaba Hotel in Souse (Tunisia).
