The Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) will run an information stand during the 14thGLOBE event, one of the largest multi-sectoral trade fairs on the environment and clean technologies in North America, due to take place in Vancouver from 2 to 4 March 2016.
Three months after COP21, GLOBE 2016 will play a key role in implementing its results and will be the perfect opportunity for you to discover the new trends in the sector. The environment and green technologies are also among the key sectors of the economy in Vancouver, the 3rd greenest city in the world, according to The Economist.
GLOBE 2016 will welcome almost 2,000 business and government representatives, 200 high-level speakers and 200 exhibitors from more than 50 countries.
The programme for GLOBE 2016 will focus on the theme of Business Innovation for the Planet, with an exhibition area dedicated to solutions for addressing climate change, i.e. products and services for reducing carbon emissions and limiting our dependency on fossil fuels, including electricity production, smart grids, natural resources and energy efficiency, alternative fuels, new materials, transport and greenhouse gas management, including carbon capture and storage.
