I-MOVIX at NAB 2016 in Las Vegas

It was in Las Vegas, at the prestigious NAB show – a privileged meeting place for all the key stakeholders in the broadcast sector - that the Mons-based company, I-MOVIX, officially presented INFINITE, its brand-new ultra slow motion camera, a breakthrough product if ever there was one, because it is the only camera in the world able to film continuously for more than one hour in extreme slow motion in 4K and in high-definition, and all this without requiring the use of a production server.

The INFINITE camera offers image quality and all the features for which the products developed by the company are famous. It is now even easier to use than before because it integrates the market's standard configurations perfectly, without necessarily requiring the use of a slow motion server, which makes this product a solution that meets a multitude of broadcast constraints, both technical and financial.

The revolutionary aspect of this slow motion camera is the fact that it is able to record for more than one hour in extreme slow motion without interruption, thus making it possible to film a sporting event entirely in slow motion without any risk of missing an action. The level of detail, beauty of movements and shared emotion filmed in slow motion images provide a huge amount of informative content which broadcasters are able to use to enrich their programmes during the event, but also to analyse after the competition, or even for the purpose of marketing - which greatly reduces the cost per minute of this completely unique technology.

The major broadcast actors in the United States understood this very well and adopted INFINITE even before its official launch. I-MOVIX returns from the NAB show having created a buzz with an initial list of orders for several dozen units. One to keep an eye on...
